Activity Area will focus the motion detection feature on a specific area within the smart camera's view . When it detects movement, the camera will determine whether the movement is within the Activity Area that has been created. If yes, the camera will send a notification via the BIOTA app and the video recording will be saved on the microSD. If movement is detected outside the Activity Area, the camera will not send any notification and will not save the recording. Users can create one to four Activity Areas depending on the camera model, with four to eight corner points that can be manipulated to shape the Activity Area as needed. Activity Area Setup Steps Open the BIOTA application. Select the desired camera from the list of smart devices that are connected to the account. On the live stream page , tap the three dots (...) icon at the top right. Tap on the 'Detection Alarm Settings' option under the 'Advanced Settings' category. Activate 'Motion Detection' if it is still inactive. Enable 'Activity Area', and the user will be asked to set the Activity Area coverage.

By default , the camera will send a notification via the BIOTA app when the remaining battery is below 20%. Users can change the low battery threshold by following these steps: Open the BIOTA application. Select the desired battery camera from the list of devices already connected to the account. On the live stream page , tap the three dots (...) icon in the top right corner. Tap on the 'Power Management Settings' option under the 'Advanced Settings' category. In the 'Set the low battery alarm threshold' option, change the battery threshold to the desired number. Now, the camera will send a low battery notification when the battery reaches the newly created threshold.

The icon will be red when the feature is active, and gray when the feature is inactive.

Users can review the smart camera recording results stored on the microSD directly from the BIOTA application by following these steps. Open the BIOTA application. Select the desired camera from the list of devices already connected to the account. On the live stream page , tap the arrow icon ( ↑ ) at the bottom right. In the 'Features' tab , tap the 'Playback' icon. Select the appropriate date and time to view the video recording at that time. Alternatively, users can remove the microSD from the smart camera and check all the saved recordings via computer or smartphone.
