Smart Door Sensor
Smart Door Sensor
Can sensors be used to automatically turn lights on or off?
Yes. Through the Scene settings in the BIOTA application, users can trigger the operation of other devices based on input from the Smart Motion Sensor or Smart Door Sensor using the 'If.., then.." principle. Users can also set certain conditions so that the Scene will only run when it meets these conditions. For example, the Smart Light Bulb will only turn on when the Smart Door Sensor detects the front door is open after 7 pm, indicating that the user has returned from the office.
Can the smart sensor device be used outdoors?
Smart Door Sensor and Smart Motion Sensor are designed for indoor use only, and do not have dust or water protection certification. Although the devices can still function outdoors, users are advised to be wise when using BIOTA devices. Use beyond reasonable limits may void the product warranty.
